Leadership Training & Professional Development
Training for Your Next Step
CHLM offers PAs opportunities for leadership training at all points during their career trajectory, whether it’s a first-time leadership position or a management skills refresher.
ELC is an annual conference that teaches leadership and personal development strategies. Develop your management skills in areas of leadership, finance, recruitment and retention, performance management, and productivity. This interactive event utilizes case studies and problem-solving activities to put your skills to the test. Plus, network with a broad group of administrators, from early career to seasoned. And do it all while earning AAPA Category 1 CME credit.
The CHLM and Northeastern University PA Leadership and Management Certificate offers specialized training for those pursuing or currently in leadership and management positions within their healthcare organizations. Designed for PAs and those who manage PAs, this program is distinctive from content typically found in MBA or MHA curricula. Instead, this 12-credit graduate certificate, jointly offered by CHLM and Northeastern University, focuses on critical competencies related to managing and leading within healthcare organizations.
CHLM recognizes five areas in which PAs and NPs can pursue leadership opportunities within their careers. To help you envision the leadership potential, CHLM provides a definition of each career opportunity as well as a spotlight on a leader(s) in that area.
CHLM approves conferences, live events, webinars and other programs containing curriculum that parallels our mission of optimizing provider practice and advancing provider teams. Our list of CHLM approved programs helps you identify events that will equip you with the knowledge needed for professional and leadership growth.
Earn CME credit at your convenience with recorded sessions from CHLM events. Learn effective management and administrative skills and stay up-to-date on the latest in the business of healthcare with Leadership on Demand.
