CHLM works to increase provider team effectiveness and promote utilization of PAs, every day.

CHLM develops partnerships with hospitals, healthcare organizations, associations, and forward-thinking healthcare companies to advance the triple aim and positively change to improve patient care and access. With roots in the PA profession, CHLM has a deep knowledge and understanding of PAs and their practice environments. With a move towards value-based care, healthcare is now more than ever, a team based endeavor. Working to optimize provider teams creates positive work environments for all providers and improves health care delivery to patients.

Our research and experience demonstrates that employers are looking for advice on how to improve utilization of PAs along with the whole provider team, to create effective management systems, maximize reimbursement and fiscal efficiency. Additionally, we assist employers in developing programs, benefits and workforce models that help them retain topnotch PAs.

PA executives and aspiring leaders are seeking information, ideas and strategies to support the evolving role of PAs in a changing healthcare environment. Through our annual events, PAs hone their administrative skills, increase marketability and grow as leaders.

Founded in 1968, the American Academy of PAs is the national professional society for PAs. It represents a profession of more than 100,000 certified PAs across all medical and surgical specialties in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the majority of the U.S. territories and the uniformed services.

AAPA advocates and educates on behalf of the profession and the patients PAs serve. We work to ensure the professional growth, personal excellence and recognition of physician assistants. We also enhance their ability to improve the quality, accessibility and cost-effectiveness of patient-centered healthcare.

CHLM is a division of AAPA.
